The page is a bit heavy but with a few patience you can see lots of things.
I already added a comment and will add more asap.
I think it's nice to leave comments :D

I have to agree with you, those were my favs as well! I love it when people silk screen, I haven't done that in years! Now I still can not leave comments on the page, the comment uploader will never let me enter my e-mail since no box to enter it in opens...oh well may have to e-mail comments to the EyeOn Committee.

Pupparatjik from the inside:

The workshop was announced at an all-meeting, and even though I did not know anything about apparatjik og Ute Meta Bauer from before, I have been listening to A-Ha since 1985/86 (I was then about 6 or 7), and thought that the concept of the workshop was interesting, and I was gonna be able to meet one of my childhood heroes.

The day before the workshop Ute had a lecture, where I was not able to pick up a single point she was trying to get through. My head was full, the room was full, and she talked fast. Magne was also there, and I got to say hi, since we talked a bit about the technical aspects of the workshop the next day. (I'm a student assistance at the academy)

Anyway (I'll no try to make this too long and boring), the next day we started out by Magne talking a bit about apparatjik, and showing some videos and stuff that was on the site. There was a mess of information, about what we were supposed to do, and that we were supposed to do whatever. It wasn't really easy to understand what was actually the case. But some groups were set up, and people joined the one with what they wanted to work on.

So we were let loose, and everyone started being super creative, and just doing whatever fell into their head, with Magne and Ute, and Regina (teacher at the academy) running around trying to give some directions in what they wanted, etc.

And the results you can see a lot of on the pupparatjik-page.

It was not quite what i expected from a workshop, for better and worse. But it was no matter, a nice two days before I now really have to work seriously with deadline after deadline (applications to be written, exhibitions to have, etc).

I'm not good with words, so this is probably not the best, but I will answer questions as best as I can.

Thank you for telling us a bit more about the workshop and for sharing your experience with the Pupparatjik project.
Btw, welcome to the forum Greger ;)

Thanks for sharing greger.
I had several looks at the site and the idea I have is that it was a super busy workshop.
Of all the things you did what did you like the most and what did you like the least (if there are such things)?

Welcome Greger and thank you very much for your report: I think it’s very interesting to read comments from people directly involved in projects like this (so don’t worry, it’s not boring at all! ;) )

Thank you also for the pictures on Flickr; it seems you’ve had two intense days with this workshop!

I like many videos and pictures of the creations you made; it’s very beautiful to see how many things and special effects you can create also mixing simple tools with fantasy and creativity!

Just a question: were aerobics and martial arts part of the workshop too?
